Caribbean Classic – 1984 Chevrolet Caprice 8 Seat Wagon – $9,900

By Cody Clark Tony Montana’s life began to unravel in a Crown Victoria wagon. If you play your cards better and choose this 1984 Chevrolet Caprice wagon instead, perhaps it will be the start of a great story rather than the beginning of the end. Presumably featuring a 5-liter V8 that ambitiously belted 150 screaming horsepower when new, a slew of new parts, and rear-facing seats over the driven wheels, the world can be yours in this wood-lined land yacht available on Craigslist for $9,900 in Pembroke Pines, FL. This generation of Caprice represented GM’s campaign to downsize the family car. It’s hard to believe this car shows any commitment to downsizing. A cursory search says that a wagon like this would be nearly 18 feet long, which is 2022 Toyota Tacoma territory. But it is r...

11 Affordable Modern Classic Cars to Buy Now

Not all cool cars wear collector vehicle license plates, at least not yet anyway. While many people complain modern automakers don't build anything interesting anymore, go browse Craigslist for rides between 10 and 25 years old and a change of heart is sure to occur. Cheap Classic: 1958 Packard Wagon – $5,000

Oh, Packard, what may have been? One can only imagine all of the faux wood trim and bulbous curves that has been missed out on since Packard's demise. Giving us a final glimpse of hope from the once great marque is this 1958 Packard Station Wagon. Being just one of 1-of-159 made in Packard's final year of production, the company didn't even bother coming up with a unique model name. Though rare, this formerly glamorous automobile may look familiar. After about a quarter century in storage, it came out of the collection of Ron Hackenberger, better known for his Studebakers. He sent it under the gavel, along with about 600 of his other vehicles, in 2018, selling it for $5,500. It's been floating around the web ever since in what seems to be a never ending cycle of for-salery. Currently ...

Cruiser or Loser – Cheetah print 1977 Cadillac Eldorado for Sale – $6,295

What's got purple paint, cheetah print interior and a V8? Alright, it's not much of a riddle since you clicked on the picture to get here, but come on! Check out this 1977 Cadillac Eldorado for sale on Craigslist in Omaha, Nebraska (Go Huskers!) for $6,295. While I probably wouldn't bat an eye at most late 70s Caddys, this thing sure is striking. Unfortunately the seller doesn't say too much about it or provide nearly enough pictures of this, uh, beauty, but let's see what we can decipher. What's a pimpmobile? Sure, the purple paint is what first got my attention, but the cheetah print interior on this Eldorado kept me from surfing away. Based on the ad, it is hard to tell if the current seller did the car up like this or if it has some history that isn't shared. In either ...
