2017 – Nissan Introduces the Signal Shield Concept

Nissan

In 2017, Nissan introduced a concept feature called the Signal Shield, designed to combat distracted driving. Built into the center armrest, the system functioned as a Faraday Cage, blocking all incoming and outgoing signals from a smartphone placed inside.
