As winter wraps up, it’s time to start looking for that next great project. Have no fear, we’re doing the searching for you, finding the best craigslist classic cars, muscle cars and vintage trucks. Better yet, we look for great deals, because who doesn’t love a cheap classic car? Here’s a few we found for February 10, 2026. Visit the link directly to contact the owner, we’re not affiliated. 1973 Mercury Cougar – $8,500

Is this deal too good to be true? A drop top Mercury Cougar with a 351 Cleveland optioned with power steering, seats, windows and an electric top? While it has a few custom tweaks that may or may not be to your liking, this is a pretty solid base or a get-in-and-go cruiser. As the Mustang’s upscale brethren, you get pony car vibes with lux amenities, if you’re into that kind of thing. CHECK IT OUT HERE.

1963 Chrysler 300 – $6,500

It’s got four doors but it’s still got a 383 V8 and supposedly less than 40,000 actual miles. I’ll leave that up to you to find out if it’s true or not. It’s looking a little rough around the edges on the outside, but jump in and you’ll find a pretty clean car. This is the type of classic car for sale on Craigslist that could be a great daily or fun Sunday cruiser for shows and cars and coffee situations. See it here.
1965 Ford Fairlaine 500 – $9,500

Get in and go. This Old Ford is ready to roll. With a plethora of new parts and a low mileage (claimed) 289 V8, as well as plenty of room for the crew, you’re going to be the envy of the neighborhood. I personally enjoy that the seller has it out in the snow. Remember, cars were meant to be driven, so get out there and drive! Check it out here.
1967 Dodge Dart GT – $8,500

Barn find muscle car alert. Check out this awesome Dodge Dart, sporting a 273 V8 2bbl. It is claimed to be a real GT A/C car, too, though it doesn’t say if it’s keeping anyone cool these days. I take that back, if you buy this, you’re instantly cool. You just might get a little hot headed driving it around. No word if it’s running after 20 years of storage. Check it out here.
1973 Ford Country Sedan Wagon – $4,000

You probably didn’t come here looking for a classic station wagon for sale, yet here we are. This big ol’ Ford is sporting a 400 V8 and is ready to cruise with all of your friends. It seems that the seller has done a fair share of work to keep this thing moving, now it just needs someone to drive it. Dang, I love station wagons. Check it out here.
We’re getting back into the groove of bringing lists of cool cars for sale, generally from Craigslist, as it seems to be the best place to find bargains! With so much talk about how auction sites and houses are ruining the classic car marketplace, remember that there are still deals to be had, and I’ll help you find them!
