On January 18, 1908 visitors to the Turin Motor Show witnessed a historic moment as the first production Lancia, the 12HP Alfa Tipo, graced the stage, setting the tone for Lancia’s legacy in the automotive world with its innovative design. It featured a 2544 cc straight-4 engine, that made 28 hp, giving the car a top speed of about 56 mph.

In 1919, January 18 became synonymous with automotive excellence as Walter Bentley laid the foundation for Bentley Motors in London, England, setting the wheels in motion for a brand that would epitomize luxury and performance, with the first cars rolling out in September 1921.

1937 Ford
