1980 Mercedes Benz 300 TD Wagon
This wagon is a true gem, and it even runs on vegetable oil! OK, you can use diesel too, no problem. It’s had plenty of work done to it, making it a steal at $4,500. With minimal rust, a super clean interior and plenty of life left, this Craigslist station wagon is a Mercedes collector’s dream. Right? Maybe I am thinking of a 300SL. Either way, this is good too. This station wagon for sale on Craigslist can be found here.
1989 Dodge Raider
If you are in the market for a clean 1980s SUV, this is definitely one to check out. While it’s got high mileage, it almost appears as if it just rolled off the lot. That nearly justifies the $9,999 price tag. That’s not easy to say about any classic SUV for sale on Craigslist. One thing this ad does really well is illustrate how important good photos are when selling a car. Check out the full ad here.
1984 Oldsmobile Toronado
The Toronado first hit the market in the 1960s with its primary claim to fame being the first mass produced FWD American car since the Cord 812. This example has less than 50,000 miles on it, making it a true survivor. At nearly $15,000 it’s a bit spendy, but could be a wise investment or a grand driver. Check it out here.
1988 Ford Mustang
If you’re looking for an affordable Fox Body Mustang for sale on Craigslist, here’s a good place to start. It checks a lot of boxes, especially being a 5.0 Mustang. Unfortunately it’s an automatic, but it is relatively cheap for a car that has seen values climb. The $6,500 price tag does reflect the work that this car needs. Find the ad here.
1989 Toyota Coaster
There are a lot of JDM cars on Craigslist, but there aren’t a whole lot of JDM buses. This $23,000 bus may be a bit costly upfront, but the hard work is done, you know, getting it here. It’s also a blank slate inside, meaning this is your possible van life dream come true. Check out the details here.
These 1980s Craigslist cars are sweet, and we plan on bringing plenty more in the future. Check back weekly for our Top 5 finds of the week.
